101 Winding Creek Ct

101 Winding Creek Ct

You will love this gorgeous end unit townhome styled condo in Mt Pleasant close to Daniel Island. This stunning home is on a marsh and has 3 exterior porches for you to enjoy. This is the only unit available that has dual verandas on the front. In Etiwan Pointe you have walking trails and you can go fishing along the marshes or tie off your boat at the neighborhood deep-water dock (10 foot at low tide) or launch your canoe/kayak and navigate through the marsh. You also have a swimming pool with a lap lane, a clubhouse and a lawn for outdoor activities. Inside the home, the main floor has beautiful hardwoods throughout except for the kitchen and half bath which are tiled. Downstairs also has custom made plantation shutters on all windows except the kitchen.

The living area is very spacious with lots of windows overlooking the marsh. Off of the living area is the large screened porch in the rear of the home with a very peaceful setting that the owners use very often. The kitchen features granite counter tops, 42” custom cabinets and stainless steel appliances that all will convey.

This unit also comes with a formal dining area that has a veranda overlooking the neighborhood. Upstairs is carpeted in the bedrooms, hardwood in the hall and tiled in both bathrooms.

The master is very large with big windows overlooking the marsh and as you will see can hold a king sized bed with plenty of room left over. Master bathroom features dual vanities with a shower/tub combo that has a tiled enclosure. 2nd bedroom is being used for the young child and has a beautiful hand painted mural that the sellers will paint over prior to closing if needed, but will hate to do so as it is beautiful.

The upstairs veranda is off of the 2nd bedroom and is perfect for enjoying the sun.  Bottom floor is a huge garage that will hold two cars easily with room left over. As you can see in the pictures, the garage has a lot of outdoors equipment that the seller uses in this neighborhood.

Seller Says:

"The things I love about Mt Pleasant are the proximity to the beach (Isle of Palms), all the wonderful shopping centers and restaurants, the school district, proximity and easy access to downtown Charleston, the safety and low crime rate of the town, etc.  After living in Charleston for a year and a half we were able to explore the Charleston area and decide on where we wanted to buy a home, and Mt Pleasant was the obvious choice.  We would never want to live anywhere else in the Charleston area!
Our neighborhood is great for those who love being outside! There is a lovely walking/running/bicycle path that goes for about 2 miles round trip, and there is a beautiful nature trail and park for those with children and pets.  Also, the community deep water dock provides easy access for those with boats, kayaks, paddle boards, jet skis, etc.  This was a HUGE bonus for us!  The neighborhood community center (gym/clubhouse/pool) is ideal and most of the time the weather is beautiful for hosting parties and neighborhood fellowship.  The residents in the neighborhood are extremely welcoming and friendly. The neighborhood is also walking distance (about 1 mile) from the Westbrook Brewery where they have tours and tastings and will host private parties as well!  Absolutely LOVE this neighborhood!
We love to eat at the abundant delicious nearby restaurants!  The Longpoint Grill is right up the road and absolutely phenomenal.  Belle Hall shopping center (also right up the road) has an amazing Italian place, Fuji Sushi is our favorite sushi in Charleston, and a great Mexican place, Rio Grande. Also a short drive away on the beach are Poe’s Tavern (the BEST burgers in Charleston!) and Home Team BBQ (BEST BBQ in Charleston!) I am not exaggerating they are THE BEST, not only the food but  they are the perfect choice after a fun day at the beach!  Also downtown Charleston has too many wonderful restaurants to mention, and are all only about a 15 min drive away.  Charleston is definitely a foodie town!
Grocery stores are plentiful and less than a 5 min drive away!  The Belle Hall shopping center has my grocery store of choice, Harris Teeter, not only because it is so close but the food selection is fresh and diverse, and they always have amazing sales and fabulous employees.  I go several times a week with my toddler and we both love it!  The Belle Hall shopping center has so many shops/stores/restaurants...we feel so blessed to love so close to such conveniences.
We chose this property because of it’s location and the fact that is was an end unit  with lots of space and natural light and had 2 front porches (in addition to a back porch with gorgeous view of the marsh). My husband and I were both in the Air Force, and although the base is about 25 min away, we go in the opposite flow of traffic so we were able to get up to North Charleston easily and without the stress of traffic on I-526.   Also we loved the proximity to Belle Hall shopping center, the Mt Pleasant Towne Center, Isle of Palms beach, and downtown Charleston.  Also wanted easy access to the water with a deep water dock, which this property offered.   Honestly the location is ideal on too many levels to count.
We love so many aspects of the Mt Pleasant area.  The weather is perfect for those who love the outdoors (golf, tennis, boating, fishing, walking, nature viewing, water sports/activities in general, etc).  The school district is best for those with kids, and the town is the safest in the Charleston area.  Proximity to downtown Charleston is ideal, and the shops and restaurants are unbeatable.
I cannot stress enough how much the location of this property is ideal, not only the location of the unit itself, but the location to all the greatness the Charleston/Mt Pleasant area has to offer.  There are also several churches within a few miles that are WONDERFUL for those church goers. The location is literally a 15 min drive tops from all anything and everything one could want to do in Charleston.
We love to sit on our back and front porches and enjoy the marsh view and the fresh air.  Our unit is the only one available with 2 large front porches.  The back porch is screened in and offers a gorgeous view of the river/marsh.  We love to go to the beach and take our kayaks and paddleboards out on the marsh in the neighborhood.
We are outdoor lovers, and partake in countless hobbies right in the comfort of our own neighborhood!  Tennis, running/walking, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, and swimming, to name a few.  We also love playing golf on the nearby golf courses, and going to the beach to surf and take walks which is only 7 miles away!  Again, location could not be more perfect!
Our utility costs are much better than we have experienced! We have SCE&G for electric/gas, Waterworks for water, ADT for our home security system (this is for my piece of mind since we travel on business frequently), and Comcast for cable/internet/phone.  The home is extremely energy efficient and I am pleasantly surprised by our low bills each month."

107 Tea Farm Way Wando, SC

Why wait for new construction when this gorgeous 1900 square foot home is like brand new? This spacious and very open home is located in one of East Coopers newest subdivisions.  Nellifield Plantation is located off of Clements Ferry Rd near Daniel Island in an area that is set for a growth spurt in the very near future. Conveniently located to the beaches and all that Mt Pleasant has to offer but still close enough to be at the Boeing Plant or Nucor in just a few minutes. This home has been insulated with JM Spider Custom insulation that provides up to R-15 in 2x4 walls and R-23 in 2x6 walls. Not only will your energy bills be lower but the outside noise  is

noticeably reduced. The  LP Techshield  Radiant Barrier in the roof reduces radiant heat during the Summer and helps to prevent heat escaping during the Winter.  Those features along with a Carrier 24ABB4 HVAC system that is more efficient and quieter to operate will insure that your utility bills will be low. Besides the home being incredibly energy savvy, it is also visually stunning to walk into and see the incredible Hand Scraped “Russet Hickory” floors that run throughout the downstairs. 40” farm style beader board cabinets, quartz counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a deep farm sink (that the lady of the house loves) are featured in the eat in kitchen that opens to the family room. And just in case you need it, the built in microwave is also a convection oven. Upstairs the master bedroom has a trey ceiling and at a little over 170 sf allows ample room for the owners “rice” bed. Also in the master is a large master bath with dual vanities and a separate shower from the soaking tub. Besides 3 other bedrooms there is also an office/children’s study area upstairs as well as a very conveniently located washer/dryer area. Outside there is a surprisingly spacious yard and this home is located in a cul-de-sac so there is plenty of room for the children to play. Both of these original homeowners say that they hate to leave this wonderful neighborhood. Come see why it is so special today, showing appointments are easy to make.

Seller Says:
"Charleston is the most amazing historical location in the United States.  There is never a lack of things to do, between shopping on King Street and a Carriage ride through downtown, to the beaches and boating.  There is something to do for all interests."

"We decide to buy in Nelliefield after my second child was born.  We had recently moved out to the Peninsula, as I was working off Clement Ferry at the time, and rented a small town house to decide where we wanted to settle in.  Through my son’s school we met some great people who already lived in the neighborhood and Ryland was just about to finish up the first phase.  We loved the neighbors we had met, and we also loved the floor-plans we had seen.  We choose the culd-e-sac lot because we wanted our kids to be able to play in the front yard without worrying about traffic.  This has been one of the best decisions we made, we love the neighbors and the location.  While we sacrificed a large back yard, I wouldn’t change a thing.  I don’t think my children have ever even considered playing in the backyard as all the kids hang out in the front."

"Our neighborhood is filled with amazing people always willing to step in and lend a hand, whether it be for a cup of sugar or helping to install hardwood floors.  There are tons of young children that all get along wonderfully, and the parents are great too.  With a lot of stay at home/work from home families there is always someone around, so we feel pretty safe letting our kids go to the neighbors on their bikes and roam around like we did when we were young.  The neighbors are always very friendly and eager to meet you at the pool.  We tend to host a variety of cookouts and oyster roast throughout the year, and sometimes even a Derby party."

"We tend to frequent Vespa on Daniel Island as it is convenient and has amazing organic, local Italian food that is reasonably priced. They have the best mussels and tiramisu in town, and they are family friendly.  We also love the local Japanese restaurant up on Clement Ferry for a quick meal on a busy night."

"There are several grocery stores to choose from depending on which way you’re coming from. Publix on Daniel Island has everything you could need and a quick hop off 526 before you come home.  There is also Harris Teeter on 41, which (in a pinch) you can order your groceries online and just drive up and pick them up.  This has come in handy when I have been running late for a party."
"I have always loved Charleston, it is in my blood. My family has been in Charleston for three generations and I could not dream of raising my children anywhere else.  My husband and I have lived in several different cities in the south, but Charleston has always been our home. There is so much to do, great people, and easy access to the beaches, rivers, and creeks."
"We all like and have different hobbies.  My son is a big soccer player and an avid fisherman.  My husband coaches for the same club that my son plays for and he also coaches  soccer for the Bishop England High School.  He also enjoys playing golf at several of the local golf course that are all within a 15-30 min drive. My daugher is enjoying exploring and finding new adventures.  Her most recent is Lacrosse. As for me I enjoy spending time out on the water or at the beach.  I you don’t find me there I will be at home spending time with family and friends."

"Our utility cost are a lot lower due to the upgraded insulation (JM Spider Insulation), the upgraded HVAC unit (Carrier INfinity 80 gas Furnace and 24 ABB$ Air Conditioner), and the upgraded roofing (LP Teach Shield Radiant Barrier)  that was installed during construction of the house.  We are only one of two houses in the neighborhood with this technology and have been very grateful in our choice to upgrade these features as we have had no issues with noise from the AC.  Most of our neighbors have been disappointed in the amount of noise the standard AC units Ryland installed creates. "

The Seller Says:

"Something I love about our town is the positive new growth of parks, restaraunts, and other businesses that are popping up along with new neighborhoods." "The things I like most about Summerville Place is the wide streets to walk, run or ride bikes on, the park and the peace and quiet of the subdivision."
